The Racing Appeals Tribunal (RAT) hears appeals lodged against decisions to refuse or revoke licences or against penalties imposed by stewards. The RAT hears appeals for all three racing codes: thoroughbred, harness and greyhound.
The Tribunal is a quasi-judicial body and, as such, is impartial between the parties.
